Here is what you can do to promote environmental education in schools.
Taking action is important because it gives us knowledge of how we
live and how our lifestyle affects the planet and its inhabitants. The
planet is our common home, so we should care about it.

Once you have completed an item, you can check it off your list!

Step 1: Create and teach a lesson plan (for just one class to start)
about a specific issue -- have students create a project about it to
get them inspired!

Step 2: Inspire and encourage other teachers to follow your example

Step 3: Organize an outdoors trip (nearby the school or away)

Step 4: Collect feedback from students and your fellow teachers, and
you can bring this feedback to administrators

Step 5: Work to implement school wide environmental education
curriculum (for example in science and social science classes)
